Mila's European Bakery, Thiensville
After 42 years in business, Mila's European Bakery has closed its doors. Founded in 1981 by Mila Kofman, a Moscow native who immigrated to the U.S. in 1979, the family-owned bakery was known for its Russian sourdough bread and other baked goods. Mila's daughter, Anna Kofman Bakalinsky, took over operations in recent years, expanding offerings to include custom cakes and cookies. However, rising costs and consumer taste changes led to the difficult decision to close. We will now be facilitating an online auction of Mila's high-quality bakery equipment, including commercial grade mixers, rounders, slicers, ovens, sheeters, and more. This is an excellent opportunity for bakery owners, pastry chefs, and home bakers to acquire well-maintained professional equipment. Don't miss this chance to own pieces of a historic local bakery.
