Triple H Drilling, Calhoun, LA
Triple H Drilling, also known as HHH Drilling, is selling its horizontal directional drilling rigs, downhole tooling, mud systems, trucks and trailers from its yard in Calhoun, Louisiana, west of Monroe. An HRE 750 x 500 drill with its hydraulic power unit leads the sale, along with an HRE 500 rig and power unit and two Vermeer directional drills. Bidding begins closing Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 10:00 a.m. Central, one lot at a time. The equipment can be seen at the open house on Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 3 to 6 p.m., or by appointment before then by calling Tim Dudley at (757) 288-1854.
The tooling runs deep. More than 70 reamers, fly cutters and TCI and mill tooth hole openers are here, with Brewis pullback swivels, pull heads, subs, Monel drill collars and 6,000 feet of drill pipe to go with them. On the fluids side, a DMSL mud reclaimer, a Tulsa Rig Iron mud system and a mixing and reclaim system sell with Ellis Williams and Gardner Denver triplex mud pumps and shale shakers.
Two four-axle heavy haul trucks, a Mack with a Tulsa winch and a Peterbilt, lead the rolling stock with two more Mack truck tractors and an International water truck. Twenty trailers include Lufkin and Transcraft flatbeds, Fontaine, Viking and Lufkin stepdecks, a Holden lowboy, and a Blackstone stepdeck carrying its own mud system. A Genie telehandler, Caterpillar and Stewart & Stevenson generators, a McElroy fusion machine and pipe rollers round out the yard.
